Deadcowboys1:
Of the 4, only Broncos with 2 & Toulouse with 1 have played in SL over last 10 years. So if an element of doing it on the pitch that so many northern fans say we should do counts then they would be 2 of the teams. Bradford have done nothing but go belly up in that period & York likewise. With Fatty Wood in their corner you would go with the Bradfarts.
Also worth saying that all of the 4 realistically in the frame have been on their backside at sometime in recent years. I agree across a decent amount of time Broncos stands up really well with others, for instance York, but the whole of RL is so volatile anyone is only a season away from disaster. For what it’s worth this is a one off chance for a few clubs to get back to SL. Widnes are way off so Bradford is fine by me. Toulouse deserve it but really it’s not about that it’s about what teams can add to SL. If Bulls are solvent I can see the merits. If the RL authorities don’t take the opportunity to parachute a well funded London into SL because we didn’t have hospitality one inch from the half way line or some such they are crazy but the other side of that is that York great this year, well funded and able to recruit players and an expansion team (light on fans/ not done much in recent years) or TO wond GrandcFinal always there or there abouts will miss out. That’s not fair but that’s the way it is.
