You right a team sheet down then you remember who is missing, a fit gov would add so much and totally forget about aspinwall

IMO Brierley would run riot at FB & that's where personally I would like to see him in his natural position next season. That leaves McNally & although he's not bad in the halves I think Govin could offer Riddy more support so I chose to drop the penalty machine Maden & place Gregg there. Pre season games are about trying things out & I think it's worth trying out & looking at the options. You do know a FB playing on't wing isn't that unheard of right Charlie? I actually played with Gov at Miners growing up & having played against the likes as Beswick as a kid Gov was always the stand out player & is a naturally tallented player with a good kicking game IMO.

From that it's clear... the backs need increasing. Missing also a "strike" player on the edge weather it be a powerful centre or a wide running 2nd rower in the Knowles mould.

McNally/Ridyard/Brierely don't miss many games between them, hardly need for another half back with Govin in the squad too. Pownall can cover FB if McNally is ever needed in the halves.

We need pace in the back line and if possible a class scrum half with experience but that's unlikely not many knocking around at the mo
