Doesn't Eorl need surgery? I know it was mentioned before the start of the 2013 season.

Personally I'd prefer him to have the off-season to recover for next year.

He was available for selection, the clown chose not to pick him.
From a Giants point of view I'm also glad he gets a break but from an England point of view it's a joke, along with Lunty. No doubt if he'd stayed at Leeds he would have become the 7th Leeds player in the squad.

Eorl does need to have surgery again on his other arm, but what does lunt have to do to get in the squad isn't it better to go with 2 natural No.9s than 1 that was made into a No.9

was shocked when i heard crabtree has not been picked, been in the setup all year, top metre maker at the league leaders but not picked?! maybe he needs surgery and that explains it but abit odd really.

why is ferres going to south africa if he is not in the squad? ok he may get called up incase of injuries but again strange... ferres hasnt done enough to get in the england world cup team anyway recently.

all this not supporting England stuff is stupid, you get behind your country, you may not agree with macnamara but we need the support and so do the players. Ok if it all goes horribly wrong...and we dont reach the final, then we can call for his sacking.

The squad couldn't be a better demonstration of McBanana's incompetency. Players with no form (Roby), players with fitness doubts (Widdop, O'Loughlin, Watkins - so surely this can't be why Eorl was dropped, as he's in better condition than any of those) and players with average form (Hardaker). Rubbish.
I'll still support them and still hope they can work a miracle but my World Cup Final tickets arrived last week and I very much doubt I'll be watching England.
