I would go with a all forward bench for a game ‘in’ the North Sea in February
It’s great to have quite a few options..

Anyway I wouldn't play four forwards on the bench seems pointless to me, I'd have Hampshire over Crowther. I'd also have Batchelor over Crowther if I were using four forwards as imo he's more versatile - just my opinion. I'm a Crowther fan but an even bigger Batchelor fan |

Big call having Huby in when he hasn't played yet? He would be in my 17 most weeks, but not sure he'll be picked.

Crowther has stood up really well in pre season and right now, would just edge Batch.

It's great to have genuine depth in all positions and for those that dont make game 1, there will be plenty of chances around the corner.

Much rather have bath or crowther in there instead for first game

I understand what you are saying but, whenever Huby does make his comeback, he still wont have had any game time.
A totally different type of player to either Crowthe of Batch but, he would be better suited to the likely soft ground and would give us a bit more grunt in the middle of the park.
Btw, I've no idea if he will be "fit" anyway but, IF he is, I'd have him in there. |

You cant see how a professional athlete who`s job is to be fit can possibly play two 10/15 minute spells in a game because he has not played in any of the friendly's ?

Okay, i get that circumstances could be better but if he is fit he is our 3rd/4th choice prop and gets in the team for me.

Maybe Chester will go with Hirst over Huby as he has had some game time in the pre season, but to suggest that you cant see how he can possibly play, well i can. |

8th top tackler in our whole team having only played as stated by Wildkitty26 10/15 minute spells.
 6th in terms of carries.
 5th in meters made.
50 offloads throughout the season - almost 2 per game and just under double what 2nd and 3rd in our team had.

Yeah he's a lil fatty fatty bum bum but in terms of his in game stats what has he actually done wrong? Why don't you pick one of is 13 errors and decide which one made us miss out of 4th spot? You've obviously got some personal grudge against him, probably because he came from Castleford.

Never said he's done anything wrong it's an opinion which is what the forums for. Some people get way too defensive about topics on this site |
