On the trust widnes forum,they couldn't believe he had been given a 2yr deal by betts from 2015,and he finished on loan most of the season at wakey.Judging by the widnes fans,not what we want.

Didn't get much of a look in at Wakey either, there must be someone up and coming in the championship worth a punt instead.

There was a lad who had a loan spell with Cas a while back, possibly from Wigan. Played well on Sky in a game I saw. But a wiki wander tells me he was Ben Davies, not this lad Kavanagh.
And Davies career hasn't exactly taken off. One good game on Sky maybe isn't a compelling reason to sign a player, in fairness.
