He's a good utility back to have around a squad but with Smith already capable of filling that role at Leeds I'm not sure it'd make any sense.

As an out and out full-back, half-back or even winger he's not there for me.

No. He has discipline issues, and is simply a little bit below the levels required for a top club

Having watched him for just over a season now, he has everything, except the right attitude.

As stated above I think Tansey has all the attributes to become a top footballer (SH or FB) but his attitude is terrible. If only someone could get hold of him and make him see the error of his ways.
