The sporting public of Australia are in shock over Arties death. Go to the online Aussie newspapers and read the many tributes to the man. A real giant in both sense's of the word was Artie.

Very sad. I saw him at the 4Ns final and regretted not getting him and Lockyer to sign my programme. Even more regretful now.
