| With Bradford in financial melt down I would put a bid in for Elliott Whitehead and John Bateman. Stars of the future they were go well for us. Just a thought before I get slated. Surely Bradford can't refuse the cash.  |

Whitehead is good but not outstanding. Haven't seen enough of Bateman to judge. What I would say though is that back-row forwards seem to be in abundance at Under 20s and Under 18s levels, not to mention the (when all fit ) battle for places among Grix/Westwood/Blythe/Waterhouse/Harrison/Mitchell/McCarthy already. Not sure we need anyone else there. |

Man City have a good Academy though, something that has got forgotten about because of their money and big name signings. They have a better record than most Premiership teams of producing good home grown players.
