It looks like Smith has opted to leave out some of the guys who will play in next Wednesdays Eng-Exiles game: Atkins, Carvell, Joel, Hodgson. Waterhouse and Ratchford are named though.

Grix also missing but expected back probably next week.

That's 4 players with limited match fitness. If we were trying to win the hub cap, you would have to say it was an 'adventurous selection'. I think I would probably pick Higham in the 17 and swap Myler for GOB.

From memory Trent has played every game this season and will probably play in the Excile's game so would benefit from a rest. Gareth O'B has done well in Richie's absence. Ben C played last Sundays game with a slight injury so I think TS will start him from the bench.
