Teeside, I was quite surprised how little fanfare there was over the Brookson announcement.

I'm very surprised. Looking on the internet it seems they are a decent sized company, and completely different from sponsors we've had in the past.

Would be interesting to hear how much they have paid. Provident's sponsorship of Bradford is allegedly the biggest in the sports history, I wonder where we compare to that.

Not great when compared with Bradford's rumoured £1.2 million then, although that does include Odsal naming rights. Still, not to be scoffed at!

THe £1.2 million is over several years I believe.

Just had a look on the Bulls Official Site and it's over 4 years. If you compare our deal plus the naming rights money from Halliwell Jones, it compares very well with the Bradford deal. We're doing ok, and as I said in a previous post, it's good to see a completely different type of sponsor come into the game.
