| We move into our QF game against Sheffield at Odsal on Sunday. We have returned to winning ways after 3 defeats while Sheffield have had a poor start (by their standards) with only 1 league win our of 4.
Hopefully Ebon Scurr will be returning this weekend to give us some more grunt up front.
Discuss the game here.

| The pitch should be a dry track. A bit more precision and variety in attack, especially with kicks and we can unlock defences. Which is crucial at odsal as most teams can either front up against us or slow the game and frustrate.
But, this is a cup game and we will be focused and ready for it. I hope.
Should be a similar team out. Scurr would be the only one I would swap in - for Mason. LBB has work to do to get in ahead of Ronan Michael

| Obviously in the cup, getting the win and progressing is the goal.
However, we need to start building on performance and develop some consistency over the full 80 mins. Defence still feels a tad leaky.

| On the Odsal thing, wouldn't you think we'd play that to our advantage, being our home ground.
A big strong team like we have is reminiscent of the late 90's, early 00's sides that did so well at Odsal (and with the same coach!) Wouldn't it be nice to replicate some of that form and mentality.

| We need to win this competition to get the IMG points. A lot depends on which Bulls team turns up. Is it the ill disciplined one that plays up the jumper rugby or is it the one that played at Fev last week?
Playing on the Odsal postage stamp really plays into the hands of those teams that are prepared to roll their sleeves up and play a spoiling game. At least it being firmer underfoot will help us (in theory).
Sheffield aren't the force they were under Aston and with Keith Senior on board for us they shouldn't hold any surprises for us.

| I hope we don't get into the mindset of thinking this is an easy win. The eagles haven't many points in the board but they're not far off.
Still come quality players in there with Aston, Morgan Smith, Jack Walker. And we know what to expect from Farrell.
