As I have said before, the chip on his shoulder dates back to an embarrassing failed attempt to take over the club a long time ago. Perhaps Peter Roe and him should get together as "chips r us"!

The fact remains that the club will feel the pinch after all but 1 friendly being called off, the early exit from the NRC and getting booted out of the challenge cup plus losing our maine sponsor at the end of the year so winning the Grand final will be a well needed shot in the arm for the club so really he is just stating the obvious.
