I have just watched an incredible game on Premier Sports. I will not mention the result in case some have it on record.
What I will say is to reiterate what so many have said before. The contrast between TV commentary on Sky/ BBC and the Aussies coverage is embarassing. Warren and his team of great ex players add to the excitement rather than have viewers reaching for the mute button.

I can't stand most of 9's commentary team. They were particularly bad tonight. Tallis is the worst of the lot. Couldn't stand Freddie tonight.

That was an incredible game. I am gutted for the losers.

Bit of a worry for the expanded World Club Challenge next year, could be a bit of humiliation for the SL teams. We seem to be further away than ever from their standard.

Regarding the 9 commentary team--Each to their own.
I'm listening to the Sky team now and their performance reinforces my previous opinion. This lot have just spent 5 minutes debating who will be playing the Giants and tonight's losers next week. Not one of the so called experts knew the system.

Slightly off topic, but have a search for 'Willie Mason - Mic'd Up (Sterlo 2014)' on that popular video sharing website. Big Willie is wearing a microphone during the Knights' last game of the season, some of the things he says are hilarious!
Definitely worth a watch.

I thought that was the perfect illustration of Australia when I first saw it, but then I realised he said "cats". I thought it was odd leaving it in when they bleeped half of the rest of it out.
