I'm desperate to try to get to Sydney in February but the package deals that I've seen so far seem a bit pricey. I've had the blessing from my wife pending costs!
I'm looking to book it myself rather than go through a travel agent and wondered if anybody knows of a hotel (not backpackers or hostel) that is well located and reasonably priced? Long shot but worth a go!!
when I went over for the Roosters game I did a homestay, the family I stayed with were Bunnies fans, had a great time and the home cooking was excellent
You're probably better booking it yourself. Save yourself a few quid. For the game in Wollongong book yourself a hotel down there. It's approx 2 hours on the train from Sydney central station from memory.
