| Is there a list anywhere of cards this season? How many have we had and how do we compare?

I've just found the stats on the superleague website. Highest number of yellows and only one to receive a red card. An area we need to improve Stats here

| One area that is easily rectified is the late hits on kickers looking the other way. These result in a yellow almost without fail and are unnecessary. Some of the others are a bit out of the players control I think as we've had a couple of quite harsh ones so far.

| Good find. We have the best average metre gain. But we have a lot of missed tackles. Could this be with playing with less men, poor technique, fatigue?. It looks to me that you have to be good but not the best at most things- surprisingly. Our missed tackles indicates how good we are at scrambling. It?s a stat we need to correct. I?m sure all the coaches study this info and train accordingly. Same for player stats. I rarely care about refs but we do seem hard done by with yellows. We can only control what we can control- good technique and decision making.

| number of tackles is fairly low which indicates we spend more time with the ball. I think we were worst in the comp last year

Exactly, Asiatas late(nothing in it) take of Lewis on Friday cost any chance of winning. It was bloody stupid and so unnecessary.

He didn't hit Lewis from behind, he wrapped his arms and it was close enough to Lewis kicking the ball that I thought it was a fair challenge to pressure the kicker. Lewis playing dead was probably what got it pinged.I was thinking more the likes of Ashworth hitting whoever it was the week before that got him a yellow.

| But don't even give the ref the opportunity in the 1st place. You can put pressure on the kicker without making contact.

| It's another rule heavily weighted in favour of the defender. No way was there any likelihood of an injury of any kind to lewis but was always going to be a penalty under the current rules.
I'm all for protecting the kicker but there needs to be some common sense applied somewhere.
All of a sudden we're in a situation where some parts of the game are going to have to be uncontested or it's an automatic penalty. We'll be playing tag rugby next
